Well, I'm almost done converting the entire website's color scheme to make it all uniform. The only pages that aren't normalized are the pictures pages. I don't know if I'll ever get up enough initiative to change those. I also fixed the spacing problem somewhat between frames. I know frames are a pain. I don't know if I'll ever get around to getting out of fraimes either. Fixing a website is just like cleaning your room. You are really motivated at first cause it's just so cluttered and messy. So you take all the clothes off the floor, throw away all the sheets of paper, and straighten things up on the desk and dresser. But by this point, you've started to loose motivation, so you don't really completely clean the room. You'll leave little scraps of paper in the corners. You'll leave candy wrappers on the floor cause you don't want to bend down and pick them up. And if you're really lazy, like me, you'll just start shoving everything under the bed. :) That way, on the surface, everything looks nice. But if you really look at it, you see all sorts of things that could be fixed. Oh well, it doesn't bother at the moment. Eventually the frames will get to me and I'll change it. But I don't see that in the very near future.
I got my new keyboard. It's a Microsoft 'Internet Keyboard.' Translation: 'Microsoft Keyboard for the internet and computer ignorant.' It has written on the bottom sides of the keys what function it performs when used in conjuction with the 'alt' key. eg, C has 'Copy' on it, V 'paste,' etc. It also has buttons on the top that do basic internet functions like 'forward' and 'back' and 'stop.' Completely pointless. I need to find out how to remap them. I like it, however. It types very well. Very good response from the keys. Joel doesn't like the extra buttons. But I find them useful. My only complaint is that I can't control my volume. I especially miss the mute button. That was the most useful of all the 'extra' keys. I'll get used to it however.
Today I got my first real sum of money from my journey into the computer business. Last week I advertised a system on ebay to see how much it would go for (I set a reserve price so that I wouldn't have to pay ebay a butt load of money if it wasn't enough money for me). It made it all the way to 625 dollars, enough to give me a good enough profit to actually build it. So I ordered the parts as soon as the auction was over. They should be here by the end of the week. Unfortunately, I didn't plan on the guy being so prompt with payment. I got it today, and I was very surprised. It came in a certified letter, so I had to actually go to the post office. So I hate that the guy has to wait. He'll get over it I'm sure.
Fin.

I've recently been informed that I am way too agressive while playing quake. People have also gotten the impression that I 'swear' too much while playing quake. 'Swear' as in I call other people bastards and scream 'obscenities' such as 'freakin'' and 'crap' and various other euphemisms. While they're only euphemisms, I feel that the general meaning behind them is the same, so I might as well be using the actual words. After all, I can't even type the word F***, let alone say it, why should I say 'freak,' which has the same meaning? The only difference between the two is that 'freak' is a 'lighter' version of the Original.
In other news, I spilled water on my keyboard, and now some keys don't work. The most annoying of which is the escape key. You never realize how much you use something until it's gone. Also on the MIA list are the left 'Windows key', F1, the numerals 3,4 and 6 on the key pad, and maybe other function keys that I never use. Fortunately, all of the letters work. Why did it have to be the Escape key???? WHY??!?!??!? Why not the 'Print scrn' key, or the 'Scroll Lock' Key????? They're completely useless on today's computers. Or even F9. Who ever uses F9???? Anyway, I called Gateway tech support (which, btw, was quite possibly the fastest response I have ever gotten. I didn't even have time to put in my Serial Number before the guy answered. I was impressed) and they won't replace it. I suppose I could have lied and told them that the keyboard just stopped working, but I couldn't do that in good conscience. (you really need to add a spell check Eric. :) ) Anyway, I'll probably end up living with this for a while. No biggie.

Working on the web page, if you haven't noticed. Working on the color schemes of the pages for now. The text and different pages aren't aligned properly yet. I'll get to that later. I'm probably going to have to use tables (pain in my butt) to get the spacing and such right. Also, I'm working on the whole frames thing. I'll get the links all sorted out soon.

btw, thanks to Boltmeyer for his updater program. Very handy. Needs to add a spell check feature though. :) Also, I'd like to be able to specify font size and such, but it's cool anyway. Thanks.

Hi. Yes. You're correct. I've updated my web page. Surprised??? I am.
So what's happened?? I went to Rome, which was very fun. I highly recommend studying abroad to anyone. Your perspective of the world will be greatly changed for the better. Our trip pretty much went as planned. We didn't make it to Pisa on the way there. We stayed an extra day in Barcelona. Speaking of which, the train ride to Barcelona from Paris was quite an experience. Being as it was our first ever train ride, we had no idea what we were doing. And the french weren't really any help -- not to propagate any stereotypes, but the people in the train station were just plain rude. On a whole, I think French people are very nice. Some people in the metro were even kind enough to take time out to help us get to where we were going. I just didn't like the train station people. Anyway... long story short, we spent most of the night between cars sleeping next to the toilets while freaky-looking frenchies decided to take 'smoke' breaks. By 'smoke' I mean various types of cigarettes, if you get my drift. Anyway, overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Take a look at my Roma web page. There are some good pictures there. I like the design and color scheme of that site better than this one, so I'll be changing that soon. I've also started to hate my cheasy piece of crap animated logo over at the top left. I'm getting rid of that. What was I thinking???? Oh, and that stupid Swatch crap?? It's going too. Man. I was stupid.
What's not stupid, however, is alladvantage.com. I got my check for 27 dollars. Not much, but I had to make sure that it was for real before I started trying to get other people to sign up. You should do it. It's quite legit. Sorry for tasteless plug, but I want money. Who doesn't???
So what did I do with the rest of my summer, you ask? Well, I did nothing. Which was great. I had 6 weeks of total sitting-on-my-butt fun. Practically every night we played Star Craft until like 4 in the morning. That was fun. Then came the new semester. I performed below expectations. Well below. I'm not satisfied with myself at all. This semester I'm going to kick it into 5th gear and get some work done, instead of procrastinating so much.
Now I'm taking 15 credit hours. 4 classes, 2 of which are TV replay business classes. I'd better get A's in them or I'll be really really mad at myself come the end of the semester.
I suppose I could make a New Year's resolution to update this site more often, but you know as well as I do that that won't happen. I'll try, though. Ciao.

Well, it's been a while, so I suppose I should update this page. Nothing much has gone on lately, nothing but freaking CLASSES and HOMEWORK!! I'm getting burned out with school. That's what I get for taking 5 classes in a semester. I'm living for 4 weeks from now when I'll be off to Europe. That's right, Europe. I'm going to be studying in Rome this summer. I can't wait. My plane leaves Orlando on May 10th, and we fly into Paris. Some friends and I ar e going to stay there for a day or two and do some touring. Then we're going to take a train trip to Barcelona (maybe), then thru the south of France, then to Pisa, then to Rome, where I'll be studying. After the trip is over, we're flying from there to London, where we'll stay for a couple of days. Then I'm back to the states. Should be fun. I can't wait!!! Until then, there are exams. yuck. Oh well. That's it for now.

What's new in Josh's world? Nothing much. A new semester has started. that's about all. Classes are ok. I think I'm going to have to change my study habits this semester, though that hasn't happened yet. I didn't do so well on my finals last semester. I ended up with a B in Physics. I was/am ticked about that. I just need to do better this semester. I'd better. It's a necessity. B's aren't acceptable. Ok, that's it for now. go to www.swatch.com. Then click on internet time. This is going to kick butt if it catches on.

Again, it's been a long time. My desire to update this site comes along once in a blue moon, so it's a wonder it even gets updated at all.
I would like to say that school sucks. This is exam week, and I have way too much work to do. I had my physics exam today, at 7:30 in the morning!!! On a SATURDAY!!! Anyway, I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was. Hopefully I still pulled off an A. We'll see. I have Statistics Tuesday at 7:30a, Orgo at 12:30 that same day, and then elcheme (Elements of Chemical Engineering) Wednesday at 7:30a. Then I'm going home Thursday. We're in the process of moving to the other side of Orange Park, so if you're wondering what I'll be doing over christmas break, I'll be moving. No Christmas this year. Ba Humbug. Just kidding. We have 'christmas all year long,' as my family likes to say, and they're pretty much right. That's about all I have to write for now. Oh, yes, I do know that I misspelled a word on my site. It took me forever to notice (thanks Chris), so I'm sure that you probably haven't noticed either. I'm not going to change it. It would require too much work to change it. I might get around to it at some point.

Yeah, I know, it's been a long time. My computer came in, but after their projected 9/7 shipping date, so I called them up and said that if it wasn't here by the following Monday, I was cancelling my order. Ha. They ended up upgrading me to same day shipping, and it was here by that Friday. I'm going to have to be more assertive from now on.
School's going well. It's very busy, but it's going well. I don't much like all the work, but I guess I'll have to get used to that. If I go to summer school, I can be out of here in two years, after this semester. But see, I also want to go to Rome this summer to study abroad. Which would set me back a couple semesters, including a Summer semester, so it's really only one semester, because of the way classes are offered at the Chem E department. Different classes are offered different sememsters, so I would have to wait a semester to get 'back on track.' Oh well, I'm pretty sure I'm going to Italy. Which will be cool. That's all for now.

Well, school's started. Remember how I said that I was looking forward to school starting? Well, it has already lost its novelty. I'm ready to go back home. I am taking 16 credit hours, but I have 25 total hours of class time per week. Isn't that insane? Add on top of that homework, study time, etc., and I have more than a full time job. Not that work and school are too much alike, but I'm just saying.
I ordered my new computer from Gateway last Thursday. The guy said that it would be here tomorrow, the 28th, but he was wrong. I just got off the phone with someone from Gateway, and she said that the estimated shipping date was Sep 7th!!!! That's just stupid. The lap top I got from there was delivered in like 5 days from the time I ordered it. I figure it's taking so long because I ordered at the time that college people are going back to school (like me), so they have tons of orders. Hopefully the 'estimated ship date' will be grossly over estimated, and it will be shipped within the next couple of days. Hopefully.

Here's my answer to Corey's Webpage, which has a very not good picture of me. Pardon the quality of the picture. It was a small yearbook picture. Haha.

I know, it's been a while, but I haven't had the desire to write. I've been kind of busy too. Camp was loads of fun. It was much more fun as a counselor than I remember it being when I was a camper.
I've been having a wonderful summer so far. Hopefully I won't get bored soon. I still have over a month left. I'm looking forward to my fall classes; I'm finally going to be taking classes that are in my major. Should be fun.

Well, I just finished classes. I just finished my final in programming about an hour ago. I then came back and finished the program for that class that I had been putting off doing. I justwasn't motivated to do it. Well, it's done now, and that's all that matters. The final was very easy, I thought. What I'll receive as a grade is another matter, considering I thought that the midterm was easy, and ended up receiving a 77. I needed and 83 (at least, dependingon my other homework grades) on the final to receive an A. Which I think that I did. I did theexam twice just to make sure that everything was hunky-dorey.
Well, I supposed I need to get to packing. We're supposed to go to see the X-Files movie tonight, so I need to get it done. I'm leaving here tomorrow morning as soon as my parents come down and help me get all of my stuff out of this room. I won't miss this room, but I'll miss living here. But, believe me, I'll be very glad to be home and away from classes for a while.

What's happening in Josh's world? Well, for the past week, I've been very busy. I had a very tedious program due Monday night. I was working up until the midnight deadline, and, much thanks to Adam, I fixed three major bugs in the last 15 minutes. I still only had one function not working most of the time, but considering I got hundreds on all the others, I think that I'll befine. Now I just have to worry about the final this Friday. It shouldn't be too difficult, but I didn't do as well as I would have liked on the midterm. For my grades, go here. My pseudonym is Timberwolf. I don't know why you'd want to look at them, but if you want, go ahead.
I just got back my last quiz in Differential Equations. I got a 95. Thank goodness. I'm up to 90.15 in that class, which means I have an A, but a very, very, VERY low A. So that means thatI have to do extremely well on the final test (which is tomorrow and for which I should be studying right now). I need an A. I don't like B's or B+'s.
Well, this is the final week of classes, and I have mixed feelings about it ending. I'm glad it's ending, and I want to go home, but what am I going to do when I get home? I'm sure that I would have fun for the first week or two, but what then? Luckily I'm going to be a counselor at Florida Bible Camp the week of the 28th. So that will be a good week of doing something.
Well, that's about it. I have a birthday (19th) coming up on the 26th, but I don't have anything planned to do. I don't even really want a gift. I have everything that I need. My parents did talk about getting me a cell phone, but it's not that necessary. Although, I like toys, and cell phones are pretty cool toys. Maybe I'll look into that. Oh well. Until the next update....
